Actually, the Keyblade was the easiest part of this drawing. The hard part was the other hand, the one holding the card. I couldn't get the fingers in the right place, and it ended up all blurred.

Interesting idea. Though, I hope you don't mind if I nit-pick a teensy bit, you can retaliate if you wish, I don't mind. ^^;
Firstly, I like it, though I think you may wanna work on folds in clothing and such (a b*tch I know), maybe by copying some of looking for some tutorials on the web. The folds around the waist are good, but some areas like the shoulders and under arms need a little work.
You also mentioned that you had some difficulties with the hand, and my main advice is, if you are anything like me, don't worry too much about making it look perfect. Unless a hand is drawn really close up in anime or manga, the artist generally gets away with doing something vaugly hand-like... XD Shape over detail, something I really have to work on...

Meh... I did have a bit of trouble with this pic. Usually I do folds in clothing fairly well. This one just didn't agree with me for some reason.

Because of you and your story, I went and played my (dusty) PS2 and played KH! e_e And I ended up drawing a Wyvern from it, too. X.x That booger took all night...
